Client Spotlight: NY Philharmonic

An interviewee sharing a soundbite

When it comes to video production in New York, it doesn’t get much better than working with NY Philharmonic. Founded in 1842, the New York Philharmonic is a symphony orchestra with its home at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. For their presentation of Afro-Modernism, they tapped in with our video production company to document the pre and post show festivities.

An attendee admires the video display

We interviewed dozens of attendees, getting their soundbites on the performance, and documenting the event as a whole. The general consensus was that the music was transformative. The goal of the evening was to celebrate the work of Black creators and explore how the arts and cultures of contemporary Africa and the African diaspora have profoundly influenced modern arts movements. It’s the exact kind of work that we’re hoping to continue creating.

We’re also hoping that this working will lead to more video production jobs with theaters, and performing arts organizations (Broadway, get at us). If you’re hoping to see the actual videos, keep an eye on NY Philharmonic’s Instagram. Be sure to shout us out in the comments too!
